October 13, 2008 — All about art and videogame accessibility...Beckham Media Client Robert Florio is a guest speaker — October 13, 2008 at the Baltimore annual library conference.
Florio was paralyzed from the neck down at age 14 after a diving accident. These days, the 20-something graduate who has an art and game design degree. The video game fan hopes to start his own game company some day. In the meantime, he has become an advocate of “accessible” games-- games that can be easily played by people with handicaps. |
Robert Florio will share with his audience how technology has impacted his life. He will also discuss his thoughts on where he thinks the future of technology is heading, and the world of accessibility and gaming for individuals who are disabled.
